Rüdiger Stegen

Graduated in mathematics (with physics as complementary specialisation) at the Technical University in Braunschweig.

CIO/Internal IT manager in E.ON IS since 2001.

Born on February 3, 1952 in Lüneburg, Germany. Upon university graduation and completion of civil service he started his career as an application designer in BKB, Helmstedt, where he later became leader of a team of programmers. In the same company he later worked on the positions of "Data processing and organisation" department manager but before he achieved this executive managerial position he was employed by Volksfürsorge Deutsche Lebensversicherung AG, Hamburg, as operation support team manager. In 1999 – 2001 he worked as a manager for „Methodology, Quality Management, Risk Management, Knowledge Management“ in Synergis, Hannover.

Karel Štěpán

Graduated in heavy current electrotechnical engineering at the Czech technical University in Prague.

Since 1997 he works on the position of general director and executive of E.ON IS Czech republic, s.r.o. (before Synergie, a.s.; Gedos Synergie a.s.; is:energy czech a.s.).

He was born on March 16, 1959 in Prachatice. In 1984, after university graduation, he started to work on the position of a sales officer in JČE, a.s., where he was soon promoted to the position of technical development department manager. In this company he also worked in department dealing with computer technology applications and in 1991 became computer centre operations manager and consequently IT operations manager. He started to work on executive positions in IT area in JČE, a.s. until 1996.
