History

Founded as Synergie, a.s. in 1997, E.ON IS Czech Republic s.r.o. soon developed into an important solutions and services supplier in the Czech Republic. Every year since its establishment the company's profits and market share have been growing constantly and the range of its services has been widening.

The change of the company's name to is:energy czech a.s. in 2002 was connected with its accession to the multinational is:energy Group (today E.ON IS). Affiliation with this group means, among other things, gaining access to extensive know-how on the liberalised media market. More than 1,700 employees of the group (in the Czech Republic, an approximate number of over 200 employees) have references from hundreds of projects for European utilities.

1997
The company was founded as Synergie, a.s.

1999
A partnership with GEDOS GmbH, Germany, was formed.

2000
The company's business name, Synergie, a.s., was changed to GEDOS Synergie a.s.

2001
A merger of the partners was carried out and its business name was altered from GEDOS GmbH to is:energy GmbH.

2002
GEDOS Synergie a.s. was transformed into is:energy czech a.s., the company became a member of the multinational is:energy Group.

2005
On April 1st, the company became part of E.ON, the largest private utility group. Company changed its name to E.ON IS Czech Republic s.r.o.
