E.ON IS is the IT service provider for the E.ON Group and one of the top full service IT providers for the European utility industry. E.ON IS designs and implements IT solutions for energy suppliers and is responsible for operations and service. With a team of more than 1,800 employees, the company services about 100 customers in more than 30 locations in Germany. E.ON IS is represented throughout Europe with subsidiaries in Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Italy, Romania, Slovakia, Sweden and United Kingdom. The corporation employs over 3,000 employees in total.

E.ON IS Bulgaria OOD

E.ON IS Bulgaria, founded in December 2005, is a joint venture by E.ON IS GmbH (51%), Germany, and E.ON Bulgaria EAD (49%). E.ON IS Bulgaria is the full service IT provider for the E.ON Bulgaria Group and the two regional electricity suppliers EDC Varna and EDC Gorna Oryahovitsa. E.ON IS Bulgaria currently has 50 employees at its offices in the Varna area.

E.ON IS Hungary Kft.

E.ON IS Hungary was founded in 1999 and is based in Budapest. The subsidiary is a joint venture by E.ON IS GmbH (51%), Germany, and E.ON Hungária Rt. (49%). E.ON IS Hungary is the IT service provider for the E.ON Hungária Group and one of the top full service IT providers for the Hungarian utility industry. With a team of nearly 350 employees, the company services about 25 customers in over 50 sites in Hungary.

E.ON IS Italia S.r.l.

E.ON IS Italia, founded in October 2007 and located in Milan, is a 100% subsidiary of E.ON IS GmbH, Germany. With a team of seven employees, E.ON IS Italia is the IT service provider for E.ON companies in Italy.

E.ON IS Romania S.R.L.

E.ON IS Romania, founded in December 2005 and located in Iaşi, is an IT service provider for E.ON Moldova and E.ON Gaz in Romania. E.ON IS Romania is a 100% subsidiary of E.ON IS GmbH in Germany and has just opened a secondary location in Suceava. More than twenty employees work for E.ON IS Romania.

E.ON IS Slovakia s.r.o.

E.ON IS Slovakia, founded in July 2003 and located in Bratislava, is a joint venture by E.ON IS GmbH (51%), Germany, and Západoslovenská energetika a.s. (49%). With 110 employees, E.ON IS Slovakia is a full service IT provider for the utility industry in Slovakia, although the customers mainly include companies of the E.ON Group.

E.ON IS Sverige AB

E.ON IS Sverige, founded in May 2006, is a joint venture by E.ON IS GmbH (51%), Germany, and E.ON Sverige AB (49%). With a team of 40 employees, mostly located in Malmö, E.ON IS Sverige is the IT service provider for the E.ON Sverige Group.

E.ON IS UK Ltd.

E.ON IS UK, founded in January 2006, is a subsidiary of E.ON IS GmbH, Germany. With over 390 employees, E.ON IS UK is the IT shared service provider for E.ON UK.
